Mechanical Design Engineer
Job description
This is a full-time, direct position. Candidates must be able to obtain a CGP/ITAR clearance, which requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residence.
Qualifications
• Experience with product development and product development processes. Any experience with automotive related design is a preference, but not required.
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Mechanical Technology Diploma.
• Experience creating parts, assemblies, and detail drawings.
• Experience with NX (preferred), CREO, CATIA or SolidWorks.
• Experience and/or knowledge in GD&T and stack-ups analysis.
• Experience with sheet metal and welded assemblies.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• MUST meet requirements for CGP and ITAR clearance (Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident).
